Sectional gutters come in pre-cut pieces (usually 10-foot sections) joined together with connectors. Seamless gutters are custom-made on-site from a continuous roll of aluminum. The key difference is seams - sectional gutters have joints every 10 feet that can leak, separate, or collect debris. Seamless gutters only have joints at corners and downspouts, reducing leak points by 90% or more.
Most residential gutter installations are completed in a single day. A typical 150-200 linear foot installation takes 4-6 hours. Larger homes or complex rooflines may take a full day. We bring our fabrication equipment, custom-make your gutters on-site, and install them the same day. You'll have a fully functional gutter system by the time we leave.
Most Ohio homes work well with 5-inch K-style gutters and 2x3-inch downspouts. We recommend 6-inch gutters with 3x4-inch downspouts for homes with: roof areas over 3,000 sq ft, steep roof pitches (8/12 or higher), or areas where you've had overflow issues. During your free estimate, we calculate the proper size based on your specific roof.
We stock over 25 standard colors including white, almond, clay, brown, bronze, black, and various grays. If your home requires a specific color match, we can order custom colors to match siding, trim, or other exterior elements. Color options are the same price as standard white.
Yes, we offer gutter guard installation with new gutter systems. In fact, installing guards at the same time as new gutters is the most efficient approach and ensures proper integration. We remove and dispose of your old gutters and downspouts as part of the installation. We also inspect the fascia boards behind your old gutters. If we find rot or damage (common behind older gutters), we'll let you know and can repair or replace fascia as needed before installing your new gutters.
