We don't recommend guards that require lifting or sliding under shingles. This can void roof warranties, damage shingles, and create potential leak points. Quality guards mount to the gutter or fascia without disturbing your roof. The 'slide under shingle' approach is often used to hide cheaper products but creates more problems than it solves.
